The watch employs the Triple G Resist structure to withstand shock, centrifugal force, and vibration. The case is also protected by the dimensional form of the case back, which is created using metal injection molding (MIM), a method of processing metal in which fine metal powder is injected into molds. For the MTG-B4000B-1A, the multi-layered carbon frame and dial are accented with touches of vibrant red and paired with a supple, yet durable soft urethane band, for a dynamic and sporty design. Beyond employing the sapphire crystal for high transparency, meticulous attention to detail is apparent throughout, including the delicate components of the intricate dial design, achieved with fine processing technology from Yamagata Casio.
